The July 23rd 2016 Summer Splash Prairie Dog Half Marathon in Castle Rock, CO is an out and back course, mostly on the paved East Plum Creek Trail. The course is not walker friendly, having a max time limit of 3:30 (max 16 minute pace per mile). Course elevation appears to stay in the range of 6100' to just over 6200, with a long gradual increase the 1st half, and a long gradual decrease the last half of the 13.1 miles, with a few more gradual rollers it appears.
