The new Elkmont Half Marathon (Trackless Train Trek) is set to take place Saturday January 16th 2016 in Elkmont, Alabama. Nice course starting out on rural roads and finishing the last 5 or 6 miles on the Richard Martin Trail, formerly known as the old L&N Railroad Bed, and is part of the Rails to Trails Conservancey. Just added to the Alabama Half Marathon Calendar.
