The July 23, 2016 AK Salmon Runs Half Marathon is a fairly flat, scenic point to point course, with June temperatures typically ranging from low 50's to 75 degrees. The half marathon course is mostly paved roads. T-shirt for all participants, and finisher medals. Cordova, Alaska is recognized as a commercial fishing villiage and and the wild salmon migration.
